My automotive career began in 2006 when I landed an internship at the local Hyundai dealer through a high school program. I was fortunate to work under one of the greatest diagnosticians I have ever known to this day, and I credit him with sparking my passion for automotive diagnostics.

From 2006 to 2024, I worked as a W-2 employee while continually seeking out the best training available – often out of pocket. Electrical theory and advanced testing procedures became my main focus for many years. However, as vehicles started becoming more advanced, there became a much larger need for programming services. My love for diagnostics quickly grew to encompass all things automotive, including module and key programming.

In early 2024, I started an LLC with the sole purpose of obtaining VSP credentials – I had no intention of taking a business full-time. However, God had other plans, and He began prompting me to take that leap. In late 2024, I found the courage to say “okay,” and Benson’s Automotive Solutions was born.
